Questions
Simple answers.
Is it free?
Yes. No subscription, no in-app purchase, no advertising.
Is this the official app?
No. Basel Parking Live is an independent app by Remora Labs. It uses the open data the Canton of Basel-Stadt publishes under CC BY 4.0.
How current are the numbers?
The app refreshes every minute and shows the time of the last update. Use the signs on site as the final word.
Why does a car park say “no live data”?
Its counter has not changed for over 24 hours, which usually means a fault. The app hides the number rather than show one that may be wrong.
Why closed, when the hours say 24 hours?
The live status comes from the car park; the hours are what the operator publishes. The app shows both and says which is which.
Which languages?
English, French and German.
